How to Get Here

Air

There are currently six direct flights from Chennai to Tuticorin. The flights are short and easy to book from any major travel website in India. Tuticorin Airport is at Vagaikulam, 15 km from the heart of the city and 43 km from Aqua Outback. There are taxi facilities operating out of the airport. However, if you contact us well in advance with all the details of your travel, we can arrange to have you picked up.

Alternatively,  Madurai International Airport receives domestic flights from Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Hyderabad, and international flights from Colombo and Dubai. A drive from Madurai to Tuticorin typically takes no longer than an hour and a half. Cabs are available at the airport to bring you to us. We could also organise for you to be picked up at an additional fee.

Train

From Bangalore

The Tuticorin Express that starts in Mysore at 06:05 pm leaves Bangalore City Junction at 09:15 pm and reaches Tuticorin by 11:10 am the following morning.

From Chennai

The daily Pearl City Express train service from Chennai departs Chennai at 07: 35 pm every evening, arriving the next morning at 07:30 am. Contact us in advance with all the details of your travel and we will arrange to pick you up.

Bus

There are comfortable air-conditioned daily sleeper buses from Cochin, Trivandrum, Bangalore and Chennai to Tuticorin that will get you here overnight. The better operators in our opinion are SRM, Vivegam, SRS and KPN. You can book bus tickets from any of these points easily and conveniently online via Redbus. Contact us in advance with all the details of your travel and we can arrange for you to be picked up.
